Wrinkle Relaxing Treatments (Botox)
Wrinkle relaxing injections, commonly known as ‘Botox’ are a very effective form of anti wrinkle treatment. These injections effectively relax your facial muscles including the creases on your forehead, smoothing out skin and eliminating deeper lines. Treatments with Simone will result in a youthful, natural look with the effects initially lasting for 3-4 months before gradually fading . With regular top-ups, the effects tend to last longer.
Lip enhancement is one of the most popular facial aesthetic treatments and there are many examples of before and after treatment photographs that you can ask to see at your initial consultation. Our mission in the clinic is to provide subtle yet effective lip enhancement which will improve the appearance of the lips whilst maintaining the correct anatomical relationship. If a more voluminous result is desired then this should be achieved gradually over a period of a few months. Lip enhancement is achieved using hyaluronic acid fillers designed specifically for use in the lips. This procedure may also involve the treatment of perioral lines (smokers’ lines ) in the skin around the lips.
These are the second most commonly requested aesthetic procedure after wrinkle relaxing injections and can be used in combination in “non-surgical face-lift” or “liquid face-lift” procedures or alone to treat specific areas such as lip enhancement, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. They can be used to replace lost volume and fat in the face, using them in cheek enhancement, the temples, the tear troughs, the jowls and chin area to help lift the facial structure and create a more youthful and radiant appearance.
It is our aim to provide subtle, natural results to make you the patient look fresher and less tired. We pride ourselves in achieving this without your friends and family guessing you have had procedures carried out.
Most dermal fillers are soft gels of hyaluronic acid of different viscosities mixed with a local anaesthetic to make the procedure more comfortable. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule that is present in the skin and allergic reactions to it are extremely rare.
Several well-known brands of fillers are used in our clinic including Juvederm, Teoxane, Belotero and Radiesse. An initial consultation appointment will include a full facial assessment, and full medical history, discussion about treatment best suited to your needs including longevity, side effects, complications and cost. Any questions you may have can be answered at this appointment allowing you to make a fully informed decision to go ahead with treatment.
Skin peels (chemical peels) are a popular way to improve the quality and appearance of your skin. There are a variety of peels available which act at differing depths of the skin, depending on the skin condition being treated. Skin peels can be used to target dull skin, open pores, fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, acne and acne scarring.
This treatment uses three wavelengths of light to gently rejuvenate and treat a range of skin conditions.
Red light is used to reduce inflammation and treat ageing skin.
Blue light is used to treat the bacteria that cause acne.
Yellow light helps to combat rosacea and reduce redness.
It can be used as a stand-alone treatment, although results are much improved following a course of treatments. It also aids recovery and improves results when used alongside in-clinic treatments such as skin peels, micro-needling or injectables.
Collagen Induction Therapy (Microneedling) is a type of treatment that uses tiny needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. These small contact points encourage the body the renew skin cells.
As your skin repairs, the production of collagen and elastin is triggered to give an almost immediate plumping effect.
It can also help treat other conditions such as acne scarring, pigmentation, large pores, dull skin, sun damage and ageing.
