DENTISTS
Andrew Mackintosh B.D.S M.F.D.S R.C.P.S
Principal Dentist
Andrew, a passionate Dundee University graduate, came to us from an implant practice in 2014. He has since gained a further qualification from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons Glasgow, before becoming our principal dentist in 2019.
As an Invisalign expert, he’s dedicated to creating beautiful, healthy smiles and has volunteered in Cambodia and the Cook Islands.
Outside of work, he loves tennis, travelling, spending time with his family & walking his dog.
Alasdair Walker B.D.S
Dentist
Alasdair became a valuable member of our team in April 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his 10 years in a Stirlingshire practice, as well as his work within a hospital setting.
He is dedicated to conservative dentistry and consistently aims for longevity and functionality, particularly in more challenging cases.
When not at work, Alasdair is kept busy at home with his two young children. When he has some free time, he enjoys playing basketball, and improving his cooking skills in the kitchen.
Leia Swan B.D.S. M.F.D.S R.C.P.S
Dentist
Leia, hailing from Ayrshire, graduated from the University of Dundee. With a qualification from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons Glasgow, she is dedicated to providing outstanding dental care.
Leia has completed further training in cosmetic dentistry & invisalign, as well as a years course in advanced aesthetic dentistry.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys keeping fit, spending time with her family, and travelling as much as she can.
She is also as an avid football fan who previously played for Dundee & Kilmarnock ladies teams!
Elaine Anderson
Dental Hygienist
Elaine is our experienced hygienist. Since qualifying in 1982 from Glasgow Dental Hospital and joining our practice in 1991, she has been committed to helping patients establish effective oral hygiene routines that they can maintain at home.

As of 2025, Elaine has been elected to sit on the prestigious 'Fitness to Practice Board' with the General Dental Council (Wimpole Street, London). Her duty will be to sit on hearings to ensure public safety and confidence in the dental profession. She will still provide regular clinics in Troon.

When she's not helping patients, Elaine enjoys travelling to warmer climates, and cooking for her friends and family.

Jacqueline Mulgrew
Practice Manager
Jacqueline has been a valued member of our team since 2010. With a passion for preventing dental disease in children, she gained her Childsmile qualification in 2013.
In 2021, Jacqueline stepped into the role of practice manager, where she continues to make a positive impact.
Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her daughter and her dog.
Alison McIntyre
Lead Dental Nurse
No visit to the practice is complete without meeting Alison, our head dental nurse. She has over 35 years of experience in the practice, and is well known for her friendly and caring nature, bringing warmth to every patient interaction.
Outside of work, Alison enjoys spending time with her beloved dog, unwinding with a glass of wine, and cheering on Arsenal.
Zoe Lewis
Dental Nurse
Zoe joined our team in 2016, bringing with her several years experience from another general dental practice. She has a passion for family dentistry and is well-known for her friendly and approachable nature.
When she's not at work, Zoe loves spending quality time with her three children.
Carina MacNab
Dental Nurse
Carina joined our team in 2011 and completed her training in 2013. She enjoys providing family dental care and ensuring patient comfort. Outside of work, Carina stays busy with her three young children.
Amy Davies
Dental Nurse
Our most recently qualified dental nurse Amy's enthusiasm for her work shines through, especially in the realm of cosmetic dentistry.
Outside of work, she cherishes time with her family, enjoys traveling, and loves exploring the latest coffee shops in the area.
Ruth Meikle
Receptionist
Ruth has been our friendly face at the desk since Summer 2021. With a wealth of customer service experience from her time with NHS Track & Trace and Thomas Cook, she ensures visitor feels welcomed.
Outside of work, Ruth loves playing the guitar and cherishing moments with her family and cats.
